Taste judgment, wired to a searchable design catalog.
The anti-slop taste layer fused with a BM25 catalog engine, queried before a single pixel ships.
Design read
dense developer tool, dark, precise, low ornament
50 styles · 119 UX guidelines · 22 stack guides · browsable by plain command
Two layers, one bridge
The judgment layer comes from taste-skill. It reads the brief, declares a Design Read, then sets three dials: DESIGN_VARIANCE, MOTION_INTENSITY and VISUAL_DENSITY. An anti-slop rule set keeps the LLM defaults out, and a pre-flight checklist checks the result before anything ships.
The catalog engine comes from ui-ux-pro-max. A local BM25 search ranks real catalogs: styles, palettes, font pairings, GSAP motion presets, UX guidelines and 22 stack guides, so every recommendation is grounded in data, not vibes. The dial bridge attaches the dials to the query, and both layers act on the same page.
Run a query
Type anything, like "dark hero landing" or "developer font pairing".
Real BM25, scored in your browser over the embedded styles catalog.
All 50 styles
The complete active styles catalog, the same data the search above ranks. Click any style to run it through the search.
The dial bridge
Move the dials and the invocation on the right changes live. This is the exact command the merged skill runs.
One command, both layers
python skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "modern saas landing" --design-system --variance 7 --motion 6 --density 4
Catalog domains
Ten of the catalog domains in the repo's data/ directory, searched with one command.
